I've had mine for a few years now and it has held up very well. It works well enough that several months ago when my regular clock radio broke I just pulled out this one (formerly for travel only), and have been using it ever since.

It has a small speaker but the sound is pretty good all things considered. The radio picks up stations very well and I often don't even need to use the antenna. I listen to the radio a lot and haven't needed to change the battery in months.

It is easy to set and use. The lighted display is a little light bulb that shines on the face rather than a back light which I was originally disappointed by. However over time I have found it useful to have what is basically a little flashlight ready to hand for nighttime trips down unfamiliar halls.

I would absolutely buy this again, but my current one shows no signs of wearing out!

Great product. Indestructable clamshell close, lightweight, and small for travel, a new battery lasts for a year or two, loud alarm, big numbers and nighttime visibility, snooze seems to keep working no matter how many times you hit it, am and fm work fine. I've bought 6 of these in the past, given most of them away to guests who used them and really liked them, and logged on again today to buy a few more. I've bought dozens of different small travel alarm clocks over the past 30 years (which I also use for my main home alarm clock--I don't like switching when I travel), and this is by far the best ever. I'm buying more so that I don't ever run out--I worry they'll quit making it someday. Never have known any of them to miss an alarm, in spite of that other review to the contrary.

It's somewhat difficult to find a good battery-powered travel alarm with a radio. Similiar models will typically lack the radio function, requiring one to awaken to a loudly buzzing alarm. This radio functions just like a normal radio alarm clock except without the need for a plug. Performs exactly as described.

Very good value for the money. Nice and very compact. Small enough you can easily carry in pocket or small purse. The only feature that it does no have that I would like, is a sleep setting so that I could fall asleep listening to the radio and it would turn off in an hour.
