We bought this because our neighbor's teenage son was a "Fast and the Furious" wannabe with an obnoxiously loud car and our baby kept waking up.
We never use the alarm part of it but we have pretty much run the white noise part 24 hours a day for well over a year. We also travel with it. Plus, at $29 it's a great deal compared to a 'real' white noise machine that goes for around $60.

I had one of these radios before, but something happened to the tuner and it wouldn't stay on station or it sounded like it was under water. Apparently Timex doesn't make this radio anymore and to find it on Amazon was amazing and brand new in the box. I like this radio because of the digital tuning and the station pre-sets which makes it much easier to change the station.Customer Review: Timex keeps on ticking

Just a short review. I bought this Clock/Radio a few years ago and it has been great ever since. I like the way the alarm sounds at first and gets faster as it progresses till you turn it off. It has a nice look and a small foot print. The radio is not the greatest but it is plenty good for my area with reception. Since our local radio stations aren't always "on" when we need to wake up and a "buzz" puts us through the ceiling, we LOVE the nature sounds. We chose the chimes because it is such a nice, but insistent, way to wake up at any hour! GREAT NATURE SOUND CLOCK WITH THREE ALARMS! BAD THING IS ONLY USE NATUR FOR ONE ALARM, BUZZER FOR ONE ALARM, RADIO FOR ANOTHER ALARM, CANT SET MORE THAN ONE ALARM TO USE NATURE.
BUT IT IS STILL THE BEST IVE FOUND HAS DIMING LIGHT ON FACE OF CLOCK, WEEKDAY ALARAMS WEEKEND ALARMS OR 7 DAYS A WEEK ALARMS, GOOD QUALITY SOUNDS
