Wanted a clock radio that would have preset stations, digital ones. Live with a person who listens to different things in the bedroom. This did it, PLUS has the soothing (to me) ocean sound that I got on the wrong time first time I used it, so it ran all night. It wasn't irritating either!!! The digital presets easy to use, the radio intuitive to set up mostly. Smaller than what once passed for clock radios. ONLY caveat is that it is hard to see very far away if you wear glasses. By bed fine, across the room--can't see the numbers in the middle of the night. Sound fine for a wee radio, digital presets the only way to go. preCustomer Review: fabulous!!!!

Not only is this easy to use the number of functions it supports is amazing. We use this in our kids room with the nature sounds feature on at night for background noise to help them sleep. The clock also has big easy to read numbers so my 5 year old can now read the time on her own. Great buy....I recommend this clock for anyone who needs something simple and easy to setup. Those other people who had difficulty using this may need to just brush up on their basic reading skills because the manual couldn't be easier to follow, believe me some of my 2 year olds toys are harder to figure out.Customer Review: Great sounds for waking

I was away on business when I first saw this model in a hotel room. Wow, what a soothing sound to hear in the morning. I thought of my wife who has hated my other "Annoying" alarm clocks. I bought this model soon after returning home.
The alarm features are easy to operate and flexible to my schedule. The numbers are large and easy to read for the experienced eyes of life. The tuner is sensitive to pickup those favorite FM stations on the low band, which are often not possible on a cheaper radio.
This has been a great investment for our bedroom.

For 20 bucks I have to give it 5 stars. It may be a little complicated to set up the 5 day alarms but once you've done it it's easy. I like the weekend alarm program, it fits our routine. The presets are handy and the display is easy to read with 3 levels of brightness. The display also shows what alarm setting your using. It has an old fashion antenna wire hanging out the back but it works so it pulls in stations as well as my FM tuner does, where the cables cost more then this radio. It also has a small foot print. I hunted high and low to find the perfect alarm clock and came up with this one for the following reason:
1-It has a backup battery - no more missing work due to a power outage
2- It is programable - choose from M-F, S&S or M-S settings. No more missing work because I forgot to turn on the alarm
3-It has a CD Player
4-Digital tuner is easier than trying to get a dial just right
5- Preset Radio Stations - easier to change the station
6-I enjoy the chimes & nature sounds occasionaly
