Why does everyone hate this answering machine? I bought it several years ago, and never had a single problem. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and it works. I thought about putting a message on it, but why? It comes with a pre-recorded message. I never bothered to set the time because my power goes off so often. If you don't want to mess with all the settings, this is a fantastic machine! Best answering machine I ever had, and I've tried them all!Customer Review: Happy with my digital messaging system

I found my digital messaging system to be very convenient. I am presently studying in Egypt and they do not have an answering system via the phone company. When we are out or travelling, we miss a lot of calls. Especially if we don't recognize the number on the caller ID. Having the messaging system eliminates these problems.
