Why does everyone hate this answering machine? I bought it several years ago, and never had a single problem. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and it works. I thought about putting a message on it, but why? It comes with a pre-recorded message. I never bothered to set the time because my power goes off so often. If you don't want to mess with all the settings, this is a fantastic machine! Best answering machine I ever had, and I've tried them all!
