Well, that might be a slight exaggeration. But this device is a God-send for any person who likes to read in bed at night, and who is married to/cohabitating with another person who DOES NOT like to read in bed at night. I have tried at least five or six different versions of reading lights, and this is truly the only one that does not disturb my husband. I haven't tried the red light or the blue light version, but can highly recommend the regular white light version. My only word of caution: the LightWedge does scratch easily so if you are not actually using it as a bookmark (in between night reading) then be sure to put it in its original box/case.
