Customer Review: Put to the TREO 650 challenge
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this keyboard so that I could start doing some serious word processing on my Treo 650, and I've been absolutely pleased!

First off, the keyboard does not come with the Treo 650 driver --- you must DOWNLOAD THIS DRIVER OFF OF THINK OUTSIDE'S website

However, downloading the driver is easy, and from there, you can sync it to your Treo, or email it, in an attachment, to it

Once the drive is installed, the keyboard is flawless!

My biggest complaint about BlueTooth keyboards is that they lag, as you type ---- but this is not the case with the Stowaway --- every key I pressed showed up INSTANTLY upon my Treo 650

So far, it has worked terrificly with my address book, calendar, and email (VersaMail)

In addition, the keyboard folds together well and is EXTREMELY thin and portable ---- I don't know if you could carry it in a pocket - but a backpack, briefcase, etc will not feel any extra weight with this product

lastly - these keyboards are small --- I wish the delete key was bigger (as I often make typos) but nonetheless, I'm very happy, and certainly, typing on this quicker than the phone's keyboard

highly recommended!

HAPPY TYPING! HAPPY BUYING!

Customer Review: Great Bluetooth Keyboard-And CHEAP!
Summary: 5 Stars

I use the iGo Stowaway Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard with a Nokia N800 Internet Tablet but have also paired it with my TMobile MDA cell phone/pda. I had a bit of problem getting it to work when I upgraded the internet tablet to OS2008. I re-flashed the memory and it works like a charm. I only have to re-pair it occasionally when it won't connect. Normally it connects automatically.

I love the fact that there are 3 rows of full sized keys. It's light and I've been using it for about 3 weeks now on the same AAA batteries! (I use it OFTEN, too.)

The Numbers and Symbols take a bit of getting used to as you have to push one of the function (Fn) keys to access them. However, after a short learning curve, I've mastered it pretty well. I'm not quite as fast on this keyboard as my laptop one, but it's pretty close.

The one thing I had to get used to was the far ends of the keyboard are up off the table. You have to make sure you don't bang the end keys with undue force or the keyboard will rock. I only had this problem at first. Now I can type without rocking at all.

My Take: Inexpensive, Nice sized/tactile keys, LONG Battery Life, works with Cell Phones or Internet Tablets... This is a GEM!

Customer Review: Which one should I buy?
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently purchased the Think Outside Bluetooth Stowaway keyboard. I must say that the keyboard was exactly what I was hoping for. I was a bit unsure about which brand to go with, but I would undoubtedly choose this one again if given the opportunity. I installed the software according to the instructions and was using the keyboard within minutes.

The keyboard came with two AA batteries, which now a month later are still going strong (with moderate usage). Keying numbers can take some getting used to (since there is no dedicated number row), but I have adapted now and rarely (if ever) inaccurately key numbers. I would rather use the function key for entering numbers than add another row to the keyboard. Since we're thinking about size (maybe?), I think the size is perfect. The keyboard is small enough to be convenient, but large enough to do some considerable typing. The keyboard folds away very nicely and came with a nice leather zippered carrying case.

One last thing, I was worried that the stand wouldn't hold my phone (Cingular 8125 Smartphone) upright. Not a problem at all. The stand is detachable and has to different open positions so it should work with almost any handheld device.

Customer Review: Not the easiest to set up, but worth the effort!
Summary: 5 Stars

After doing some research, I purchased the Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard for my HP iPAQ 6515 (Pocket PC). As others had stated, it was not the easiest to setup and I had to play with it for quite a while until I got it to work. The directions are not very clear and you really do need to have a good working knowledge of your device to get it up and running. Also, don't look for support from the company, there really is none. However, now that it is syncronized, it works great! The keyboard is easy to use (full-size) and although you have to hold down the function key to type numbers, I quickly got used to it. It opens and closes easily and my Pocket PC immediately recognizes that the keyboard is there with just a touch of the first key. Overall it is a great product and my only complaint is that I did not purchase it when I first bought my Pocket PC. I use is for work, class, and even pull it out to type e-mails when I am out on the go. Thanks to this keyboard, I have a full computer in my purse at all times. The product has made my life a hundred times easier, so if you are being cheap as I was at first, don't! It is worth the $100 and then some, just prepare to spend an hour or two installing it . . .

Customer Review: Convenient, great for note taking
Summary: 5 Stars

I've used mine with a Palm, an HP Ipaq, and now my iPhone 4. Works great. Needed to install SW on the PC for the ipaq. Didn't need any SW or an app, the iPhone just found it.

It's not the best keyboard for numeric entry, but it is great for sitting in a convention hall seat or in an airport waiting area, and taking notes. The size and feel of the keys are good.

I type fast, so I need a keyboard that can take it. I also like that it folds up in its little case, and is very lightweight.

If I'm going somewhere where I don't want to take a netbook or larger, using this keyboard with an iPhone is perfect.

It means notetaking on the go is easy. It fits into a fanny pack or briefcase without taking up much room. And since I carry it more often, I'm more likely to be able to write longer emails or take notes.

I like the two AAA batteries option instead of rechargeables, and they last quite a while.

I got mine for under $100, I'm surprised to see they cost so much now. I've been using mine for about 5 years, and it still works great.
