I bought this for my Dell Inspiron 531 because my psu went bad, my pc kept shutting down. The size was too long for the 531 case but it can still fit. Another thing is it only has one sata connection so I couldn't plug in my cd drive. So I just bought a sata extention(y spliter) for under 10$ now every thing works. I would recommend this PSU for any body with a 531, even though the size was too long, it still fits in the tab and you can screw in the back. It's nice and steady in my Inspiron.Customer Review: Wicked piece of item

For it's price this is a very good power supply. It's one of the quietest power supplies I've ever heard. I've had some that runs louder than regular fans. This is very quiet actually one time I wasn't even sure if it was running so I turn in off and back on again in error. I would recommended this product to anyone who needs a quiet, efficient power supply. It does the job and does it well. This is the only choice for a quality low cost power supply. It has the power you need for all but the hardcore computers. The leads are long and mesh wrapped and it has all the different ones needed for the newer computers. It is also very quiet. A popular parts selling company has sold tons of these and had stellar reviews on it. I have bought and replaced many power supplies in the last five years and this has been my favorite. This is by far the best PSU I've ever owned. The cables are extremely well shielded, extraordinarily well constructed, though are a very tight fit if you use a small pc tower. Go with a medium or even large tower if you're going to use this power supply.
This thing is superb, has excellent grips to remove the connectors from your drives and peripherals and have superb ventilation. Stop here and get this one. You won't be disappointed!

I bought this to replace an old 230W power supply that started making noise.
The dual fan set up is extremely quiet. I was expecting something a tad louder then what I had even though I read others reviews. Everybody is correct.
The wires are neatly bundled with mesh conduit. It does make them a bit more stiff but it is not a problem.
You can't really beat the price. And with 430W there is room to grow.
