Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Thermaltake W0070RUC TR2 Series 430W Power Supply with 2 FansCustomer Review: Great stuff! Summary: 5 Stars
The reason I bought it is my new 9800GT card need PCIe power cable, although I could use some adapter cable linked to my old 230W supply to run it. I decide to buy it anyway after I read a lot of review of this stuff. I have used it for over 1 month now. It is very quiet and powerful enough to support my 9800GT/AMD quard core desktop. Highly recommended!
The only thing I do not like is that the two SATA port is too close eache other. It is not a big deal if you put your hard disk and CD-rom together. However in my case, I have to buy a adapter cable to run my CD-Rom.
Customer Review: Best Bang for the Buck! Summary: 5 Stars
Wow! If my monitor weren't on I wouldn't know my computer was running, this power supply is quiet! Even when I had the air conditioning off in my house during the summer and temperatures were over 90 degrees F the high speed would kick in for brief periods and then go back to the super quiet low speed. I don't run a whole buck of graphics or do major number crunching, just run of the mill email and net surfing so I can't really attest to it's high power attributes but for my applications, the low price and quiet operation has made me a believer!
Customer Review: Good Value and Quality for the price Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this power supply for my Dell computer after my orginal one started having problems with the cooling fan. Did'nt want to wait around until it finally gave up the ghost, so I read some of the reviews on here and decided on the Thermaltake. Installation was quite easy, it comes with basic directions for hooking it up, and the unit runs very quite with minimal fan noise. I could have spent a lot more money, but this unit was perfect for my system and is higher wattage than my orginal, which I would recommend.
Customer Review: win power Summary: 5 Stars
Chose this unit to replace a 250w power supply that suddenly stopped working after two years of use in a Gateway gt5012. Given the fact that I had added more memory, a video card, audio card and another dvd burner, I chose to go with this 430w unit. The two fan set up, along with the 3 year warranty were factors in deciding. Shipment was timely. Packaging was good. Unit is built well with proper gauge wiring. Its fairly quiet. No problems since install. PC is powered up daily and usually on for 8-10 hours. Recommend.
Customer Review: Great power supply upgrade for Dell Dimension Summary: 5 Stars
I upgraded the worn down power supply in my Dell Dimension 8200, and this model was perfect. Very quiet and stays cool. Only one minor issue...the power switch isn't flat against the back of my Dell unit, so I just shaved the top of the switch off (since it is not needed anyway, and cannot be accessed unless I cut a hole in the case). Otherwise, plenty of cables and plenty of power. I would highly recommend this particular model if you are needing a more powerful power supply/upgrade to your older Dell Dimension.
