I thought this was just a case when I first saw it; I guess technically it is, but its out-of-the-box capabilities go far beyond a typical computer case. Besides the heavy-duty construction, and not to mention the way air just simply flows through this "case" keeping everything cool, this component with its included remote control and flat-out superb style sets it far apart from any computer case I have ever seen.

I've had this case, the home of my HTPC for about a year and a half now. From day one it has been set up right next to my receiver. I have gotten so used to people coming into my house, looking at it, and wondering why I have two receivers that I have begun to look at it as a receiver. That is, just until I get the remote control, push the power button that turns the computer on, dims the lights, and starts the projector. Like I said, I can't even look at the thing like it is a computer. It sits next to the rest of my audio video components and blends right in.

Thermaltake did such a good job engineering it that I don't think I'll have to get another HTPC case for 10+ years. The only thing I have found that doesn't function as well as I'd like is the VFD display and the fact that the iMon software needs to be running in order for the remote control to work, and for the display to turn on. Other than that the remote control functionality works as goood or better than my Sony DVD player. The remote's even got a mouse/media center remote keyboard.

The only other component that I would recommend for it would be the Logitech Dinovo Mini keyboard, and that's only if you want to use your HTPC to browse the web. ...I'm looking back at when I asked myself if 200-300$ is too much to pay for a computer case, and I'm almost laughing because that case hasn't just looked nice from day 1, but the functionality right out of the box has made it well worth it. So quit wasting time worrying, buy an awesome component: you won't regret it.
