I have not used it as much for accounting (yet) but REALLY appreciate it's size and ease of use in the office. Plug and scan - very simple.
One Note: my start-up disk did not work for some reason - it was pretty easy to go online and download the setup for all my computers from their website. I expected alot more hassle when the dik did not work.
Worth the money!

I do not know how I have made it without this scanner. It has made my life so simple. I travel so when I get home I have a pocket full of receipts that I would throw in a box. At the end of the year I am scambling around trying to figure out what go where. Now I push a button and have all my expense to hand to the accountant. IF YOU TRAVEL OR OWN A BUSINESS THIS IS A MUST HAVE ITEM

great!!!My husband is a truck driver, owner /operator;we deal with a lot a receipts on the road. lots of missing papers, that cost money to us when tax season comes. Now my husband scans all the receipts the same day, no worries anymore. ALSO scans all trips related invoices, e-mail them to his dispatcher and save the cost of fed/ex all paper work to get paid on time. size is excelentCustomer Review: Neat Reciepts

It's what I have been waiting for I'm using the daylights out of it. I just wish it was faster.
Also have those OCR guys see if they can begin to read hand writing on the reciepts too. If not, it's OK because I can't even begig to tell you home much time I'm saving.

There are so many features associated with this device that I am unlikely to use. If you have a small business, I can imagine how useful the NeatReceipts Scanalizer would be. But for my purposes, it's over the top. I am using it as a straightforward document scanner and not as an accounting device. I'm giving it 5 stars because I don't want to under-rate an untried item.
