I have taken two Statistics classes and could not have survived without my TI84. This calculator makes sense out of the innumerable equations one must learn in a Statistics class. Its also great for Engineering. Once you've had one you'll understand how valuable it is. The TI 83 doesn't keep up with the new Statistics textbooks. Here is a new business idea for anyone. Start offering insurance policies on these things. I live in an affluent suburban area of PA, but, i have bought two of these this year because of the few punk kids in our district who raid the sports locker rooms while the other kids are at their practices. I purchased this calculator for my daughters pre-calculus class. She used the tutoral to become familiar with the product and found it very easy to use. If I had to purchase it again, I would have gone with the silver edition to obtain more memory.
I found the best price through this sight and delivery came before we had expected.

The product was what my granddaughter wanted to do her math assignments. She is 15 years old and #1 in her class.
The only problem was the batteries were leaking acid. It might be possible to send the batteries in a separate package--you could then see the expiration date on them.
