I admire the BA II Plus Professional, though I do get annoyed of some of the button placement as I'm used to the TI-83 but it's not too hard to get used to. Very useful for Time Value of Money Functions and especially if you're using it for the CFA Examinations. I'd recommend it. The plus side is that it can calculate the Discounted Payback Period (DPB) where the TI BA Plus cannot, the last thing you need is more algebra on a test like the CFA.Customer Review: Perfect for CFA Exam

This calculator is perfect for the CFA exam. Easy to learn financial functions, comfortable feel and size, easy to press buttons, and a sleek silvery look. The leather case stretches to hold extra pencils and erasers. It slso has space for extra batteries, which brings me to my next point. It is 2011 now and I bought this calculator in 2008 and I stil haven't changed the battery. I study 250 hours per year for the CFA exams. Thats a ton of usage.Customer Review: Great upgrade!!!

I've had the regular BA II Plus model for about 2 years now, but as soon as I heard of this one I had to get it. Besides the extra features the calculator has, it has a much better appearance than the regular model as well as a leather case to hold the calculator. For any accounting and finance professionals, this would be a great add to the materials needed to get you through school and the CFA exam. A required tool for my Corporate Finance Class here in college, the TI-BAII Plus Finance Calculator has helped me destroy financial questions on more than one occasion. It is easy to use, and offers more features than just the normal Finance Calculator offered by TI such as Net Future Value (NFV) in the Cash Flow (CF) function. I recommend this mighty sword of a calculator to anyone wishing to slay a Finance Class as I have. HIZAH!!!!!!!!!Customer Review: great calculator

i have both the financial calculators that is the texas ba11plus and the casio fc 200v; comapared to the fc 200v the texas ba11plus is much much better calcualator it has great speeds of calculating the irr while compares to the fc200v which very very slow; the display is also better when comapares to fc 200v;the fc 200v has some more functions compared to the ba11 plus but given a choice there is no match for the ba11 plus professional.
