I bought this few months ago but used it yesterday. I ran it from attic to basement (I have a pass through pipe from attic to basement). I have an antenna in attic that resembles this Channel Master Antenna very closely. I have one end of this RG6 cable connected to the antenna. The basement end of this cable is connected to the cable going from basement to family room (this section of the cable was part of the house).
My 6+ year old Sceptre LCD HDTV (1080p) picks up 20 channels crystal clear (I live around 15 miles north of Atlanta). I did not need to add any amplifier. So, I believe this cable is getting the signal through all 100ft of it with negligible loss.
I have the extra length lying in the attic. Need to trim it. But, it works well even using the entire length.
