Customer Review: Quality and Slick-Looking Laptop Case

The Targus Zip-Thru case a very nice laptop case. Just like it says, it makes going through the security line easier since all you have to is unzip the bag and lay it flat. It might not seem like a big deal to take your laptop out and place it in the tray, but this is just so much easier when you're dealing with crowds and you already have to worry about emptying your pockets. There are 2 very strong pieces of velcro on the inside that keep the laptop secure, and only these need to be undone when going through security.
Appearance wise it is a very slick loooking bag. It is what I would describe as a satin black with a hint of gray, so it is not pure black. I guess I would say it looks smaller than it is, but you just squeeze a 16.4" laptop in here while a 15.4" laptop leaves a bit of room. The thinner the laptop, the more you can fit in the storage pockets which have several small compartments for various items including an ID pocket and a key clasp.
Based on how the case is constructed, I believe it will last. The material is strong and the zipper is fairly heavy-duty. The strap is strong with aluminum clips and a nice shoulder pad. The velcro is very strong on this bag which is good, but it makes opening the front pocket very loud. That is the only negative I've had with the case, but a very minor one. It is a little pricey, but put together much better than some of the less expensive bags out there. Overall, I would highly recommend this bag, even more so if you fly frequently.
