I own an Aspire One 10.1 and had been searching for a case. Saw the sleeves but they don't seem to have a carrying handle. Have also read some reviews about certain cases that state that they will fit the 10.1 but the fit is very tight. Well, I just bought this case at a local retailer and it is great. It is all that I had been looking for. The 10.1 fits perfectly, not too tight or loose, and it has straps to hold the netbook in place. It has a carrying handle as well as a shoulder strap, and a very nice storage pocket that will easily fit a charger, mouse, etc. The padding is adequate, after all, it is a soft sided case, and it probably has more protection than a sleeve. I recently purchased an Acer Aspire One (6 cell version) and ended up spending a surprising amount of time looking for a case for it before tripping across this one. I am happy to report that it is a perfect fit. Moreover, it has a full size external zipper pocket that is roomy enough to hold both the Samsung external optical drive I purchased for the machine and the battery charger without adding any appreciable bulk. The detachable shoulder strap is the option I particularly wanted since I often do not have a free hand when traveling. The only mystery is why Amazon does not list this case among the suggested cases for the ACER machine since it is an excellent choice.Customer Review: Great for Acer Aspire One

This carrying case is good for my Acer Aspire One 10" Netbook. My netbook has the 6-cell battery attached, which makes it bigger in the back (but not my much). Like another reviewer, I actually cut the straps on the inside of the bag (I never use the netbook while it's in the bag - the bag is simply for hauling the bag long distances for me).
I have placed the power brick & cables in the second, zipped compartment along with headphones or a DVD or two without the bag feeling overpacked. It's a good fit with a little breathing room for the netbook. For the current price of around $19 this is a solid case to travel with.

This case is a perfect size for my Samsung N120 10" netbook. Not bulky, but is still large enough to carry all my accessories when I care to do so. This includes power cord(s), a slim external disc drive and usb cords, power projector cords, extra discs, thumb drives, small wireless mouse. Stll yields a small and light profile. Other cases I have that were reportedly netbook appropriate were either way too small or too large (and heavier)even after all equipment was included. Again, a nice compact, but adequate, size for my 10" netbook and accessories. Can carry all that I need on my travels while keeping size and weight down.Customer Review: Great For Storage and Travel

I have a 6-cell Acer Aspire One and needed something to put it in that wouldn't be too snug or might not fit at all. The 6-cell battery is what makes my netbook a little big for some of the 10.2 sleeves out there. After reading the other reviews, I opted to try this one and I'm glad that I did. The Aspire One fits very nicely in this case.
I bought this with home storage as well as plane travel in mind. It's roomy enough to hold your netbook, your power adapter, a travel-sized mouse, maybe a couple other very small items and your plane ticket. No more big laptop bag for me when I'm flying! This is perfect.
