I use a 17" HP laptop and was looking for a decent well built case in which to transport it. Based on generally good reviews I ordered the TLE400 17 Deluxe Leather Notebook Case . I was literally astounded at the case when it arrived. It simply drips quality and luxury.
The quality went well beyond anything I was expecting for the price .. or would have expected at twice the price. Metal rivets holding metal rings for the padded shoulder strap. Zippers that worked like silk. Leather sides that felt like glove leather. The case is well padded and has space ... well thought out useful space with dividers and holders for just about anything one might want to carry with a laptop.
Alert. This is not a simple bag just for a laptop. It was designed for someone who wants to carry additional items, like "media", cell phones, note books, folders, mice, cables and the like. Not that you have to load the bag up, but part of the price must be for this additional capability .... and that capability is well designed and nice to have for when / if you ever need it.
What gets me is that this bag is so well designed and built. I just didn't know they could do that for fifty dollars, the price I was lucky enough to pay when Amazon had it on sale. It is worth twice that if you can use the features or if you just like really nice stuff.

This traveling case is not light-weight. I appreciate its thick build and solid parts, which give it some weight, but it holds up well to heavy traveling. Its flat-black leather doesn't look expensive but it gives it strength. It easily holds my 17.3" laptop with room to spare - I throw in a few paperbacks or newspapers. Its padding is adequate. It provides room for overstuffing, if you have the need, in two large pockets on either side, plus a narrower zippered pocket on one side suitable for tickets or other small, flat items. One side pocket is divided in 3 sections, allowing for organized filing. It provides all the needed slots and holders for business cards, pens, cell phone and other gadgets. Altogether there are 4 zippered sections: the main compartment for the laptop, plus 3 pockets. I've traveled with this by airline, Amtrak, rental car, local use to the office, and it still looks new after a year of use. No cracks or blemishes or evidence of wear. It has a strap along one side with velcro, which I discovered can slip over the handle of a wheeled carry-on luggage for added convenience when traveling. My wife complains it is too heavy, but I like that it is sturdy and roomy, does the job and holds up to use.Customer Review: Awesome Laptop Case

I have a 17" wide-screen laptop and was having trouble finding a high quality case for my laptop. When I stumbled upon this laptop case on Amazon, I thought it looked like a steal compared to the ones I had looked at in some brick-and-mortar stores. I went ahead and ordered the case and I have to say I absolutely love it. I have owned this particular case for a month shy of two years and it has held up exceptionally well for the abuse I put it through on a nearly daily basis. The quality of the material is top-notch and the multiple pockets for storing additional necessary business accessories is a superb addition as well. I can't count the number of times I have been thankful I could pack in an additional mouse, USB flash drive, toothbrush, or even some DVD's to help me get through the work day. I feel like a million bucks when I carry this case around and it has helped my self-esteem soar to heights previously unknown to such covert laptop case fans like myself. I would gladly recommend this suitcase to a friend, but only as long as they didn't work in the same office as myself as I wouldn't want them to steal my glory of having the most fashionably awesome laptop case around.Customer Review: A Quality Product

My new MacBook Pro 17" fits the Targus TLE400 case with room to spare and padding to protect this expensive laptop. I also carry around the power adaptor, a mouse, file folders and paper for meetings, and frequently a GPS sensor. The case is relatively lightweight, but made of good material. The leather is very nice, but there is also a lot of plastic in this case. However, it is also of good quality. I like the rubber skids on the bottom of the case and the double zippers for most closures. The removable velcro mesh pocket is great for storing the Mac's power adaptor and an ethernet cable. I never use the cell phone pocket, but I do use the pencil/pen holders and the various size pockets for media, spare batteries, etc. I enjoy the comfortable shoulder carrying strap, but I frequently also use the smaller handles when picking up or moving the case/computer. After recently purchasing my 17" Gateway P-7805u notebook, I searched retailers high and low for a bag to fit. No luck... I did not want a "backpack", and of all the decent quality (meaning totally overpriced) bags that I found, they would only hold up to a 15.4". I then turned to Amazon. After reading the reviews of this bag, I was convinced and was not disappointed in the least. This bag is roomy, with plenty of storage and the leather smells yummy. The shoulder strap is well padded and fully adjustable, and the interior is lined with soft material. Although not viewable from the picture, I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that the bottom of the bag has sturdy rubber feet (one of the things that I was hoping for upon placing my order). I am very happy with my purchase and would totally reccommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a great quality, professional bag.
