My hubby is hard of hearing. I have great hearing. As my hubby would say I could hear a gnat sneeze at fifty paces. So we never agreed on how loud he needed the volume on the television. After years of struggle with this issue..... We had tried the expensive wireless headphones, they were awful, feed back noise and scratchy. Then we tried the wired kind, but that meant haveing the cable strung across the livingroom... (But I must admit it was rather amusing when I was playing fetch with my Sheltie and he would get tangled up in the cord.....and the hubby's reaction with having the headphones or most recently the earbuds..... suddenly snatched out of his ears.) The TV Ears are the solution to our struggle. They work wonderfully, no static at all. Would highly recomment them.Customer Review: The best thing I've found

These t.v. ears are phenomenal! I bought these for my dad who's hearing is not what it used to be. He's on oxygen continuously and the other devices I bought only magnified the air flow from his nasal cannula and not the t.v. sound. He is so happy with these because he hears the t.v. with total clarity and yet he can still hear someone speaking to him and he doesn't hear the oxygen at all! These are actually mini speakers and they are great! In fact, my mother tried out dad's and loved them too. She said she could hear so much better with them so we bought her a pair. The charging station/cradle has room for four pairs of t.v. ears and it's very handy. I recommend these to everyone, hearing problems or not!Customer Review: Thumbs up for TV Ears

My husband likes the TV LOUD. I wear hearing aids; without them, I can hear practically not at all. With them, even adjusted, his volume is not my volume. To move to TV Ears:
I'm always reluctant to try what I consider "gimmicks" like this. On the recommendation of my brother-in-law, a satisfied user, I ordered a set. They work. I'll go beyond that--they're wonderful. I remove hearing aids, insert TV Ears plugs, and I'm in business. The sound can be adjusted to just what I'm confortable/happy with. Makes for happy TV watching, happy relationship.

Love my TV EARS. After a recent sudden hearing loss in my right ear, I was having to turn the volume way up on the TV, which resulted in watching TV by myself. It's no longer an issue with TV EARS. The TV volume can be set at a comfortable level for those with normal hearing, and I can control the volume of TV EARS so that I can hear and understand dialogue--even better than before the hearing loss. The only negative is, although they're lightweight, after wearing them for several hours of TV viewing, they make my ears a tad sore. Small price to pay.Customer Review: Husban happy, Wife happy

My husband has ringing in his ears, it helps to have the TV on most of the time,plus he can't hear too well so its loud. It just drives me crazy. I didn't want to complain, its not his fault. One night I was so annoyed, I went into computor typing, my husband listens to TV too loud. TV ears came up.After lots of research, I ordered. Folks, I gotta tell you MY husband loves them and so do I. I can mute the TV and he can hear it as loud as he wants. He also can hear every word thats said.For that reason I may order some for me.
