TV Ears 10041 Original System (Black) For some one who doesn't want to wake his wife at nightbecause you are watching tv, this will work. Its not the most wonderful sound system in the world, but it works ok. Would recomend it for some one who wants something like this but does not want to spend a lot of money.Customer Review: Works for us !!!

My wife has need of hearing help. A hearing aid does NOT do it for TV sounds. She had the chance to try one of these "ears" at a friends home and was so helped that we bought a set for her. Amazon.com had the best price. It does work as described and voice frequencys are enhanced. Even if the viewing room is quiet, she wears the "ears" to improve the sound for her. Our Dad is 91 years old and quite deaf-so the VERY loud TV made normal conversation impossible. So my sister and I bought TV ears for Father's Day this year and Dad loves them, now come Packer games this Fall everyone will be able to agree or disagree about the plays called without blasting the neighbors off of their sofas!Customer Review: I t certainly helps me

As a hard of hearing person who hates to wear a hearing aid, but likes to watch English films, this works great. I still have to rewind once in a while to understand what's said, but that's because they are not speaking American English. The TV ears work very well. It has great volume control and is easy to use. It would be better if they worked on radio frequency and not IR. You must stay in line of sight of the base station. The ear covers are a little big for my ears and could use different sizes to fit all ears.
