We bought this for my Mom, who lives with us. We got the original version after reading about problems with the newer one. Before TV Ears my Mom would have the TV so loud that we could hear if from her room all the way to the living room. Now my Mom can hear the TV more clearly and is watching and enjoying it more. My wife and I can have more peace and quiet since the TV does not need to be loud. Also, very fast and problem free delivery even during the Christmas rush.Customer Review: Life Saver!

I got TV Ears for my dad. He likes to have the TV loud but my mom hates it. TV Ears works for both of them. The TV can be at a normal level for my mom and my dad can have his TV Ears as loud as he wants without disturbing anyone. He loves them!!! He can hear the dialog even better than normal (which is why he would crank up the volume). Both of them are extremely happy and they no longer have to argue about the volume of the TV. TV Ears Original are by far the best listening device I have tried. I am VERY hard of hearing and have tried many types, including expensive head sets and find TV Ears is way out front of all. I wear behind the ear hearing aids and can hook the ear pieces by the aids and hear well. They work well for me directly in the ears also. Don't look further, they don't come better.
Now I enjoy tv again.

TV EARS ARE GREAT! Now we can all stay in the house,even in the same room when our 92 year old mother watches TV. She loves them,can hear everything on the program. Can follow the program better than she did with CC. Be sure you have a TV with ports to hook into. Took less than 2 min to have them ready to use. My husband and I use to argue over the TV bedroom noise at night. TV ears has stopped that. He likes a loud TV and I don't. Plus I like to watch TV after he goes to sleep at night. TV ears has given both of us peace of mind and no more arguments. I get to stay in bed and watch TV. Which he likes.
I recommend them highly.
