This item helped me set up my network throughout my house. I had electricians run wires to about 10 places in my house, but to save money on their hourly rate, I did the terminations on my own. If you are walking into a cabling cluster-mess you will need this. Found cabling issues that others worked around. Customer thought I was a trouble-shooting genius. I purchased this to test CAT6 and RG6 cables. The unit comes with a 6" RJ45-male-to-RJ45-male cable, and two RJ45-male-to-BNC-male adapters. If you want to test your coaxial cables with F connectors, you should separately purchase two BNC-Male-to-F-Female adapters.Customer Review: Just What We Needed
