Customer Review: Does what it's supposed to

In my home office I have an old Dell Optiplex and a Mac G3 that I use as servers for various games. The old setup with two monitors, two keyboards, and two mice was frankly taking way too much room, so a KVM switch seemed like a good idea. I've been working on setting up more computers so I went with a four port rather than two. When the switch arrived the first thing a noticed was the size, much smaller than I expected. Setup was easy and quick, no drivers needed. Both computers recognized the device although the Mac did have to run a keyboard setup. The device can also accept ps2 input via a normal ps2 USB converter. Using an older CRT monitor I notice no difference in display quality. Some reviewers have noted the lag between switching computrers, however I did not have a problem with waiting 2 seconds (the CRT takes longer to turn itself back on anyway).
The included cables are a nice addition as most other devices had them sold separately. The cables are long enough to have the switch on the desk comfortably in reach with both towers on opposite sides of my legs.
My only minor complaint is that with cables extending from all four sides the switch can be difficult to position.
All in all it's a great little switch for a good price.
