Perfect addition for my Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens (Black). This SDHC card works perfectly with my camera and is large enough to let me feel comfortable shooting in RAW mode and having plenty of room on my memory card for more pictures. If you need more storage space, you can also pick up the Transcend 16 GB SDHC SD Class 6 Flash Memory Card TS16GSDHC6E [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] which is not surprisingly about twice the price of this card (as of 1 March 2009). I can't remember exactly how much I paid for this and I think it's cheaper now than it was before, but I do remember thinking what a great deal it was. I have a Canon PowerShot SD750 7.1MP Digital Elph Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Silver) and though it came in handy when resort hopping around Lake Tahoe, the 2GB disk I had didn't quite cut it. My fiance and I had taken a lot of pictures and video clips on the slopes and had to dump the pictures onto our macbook (thank goodness we brought it along) each day of our trip. We haven't had any concerns with this 8GB disk but now I think we're lazy about transferring the pictures to our hard-drives since we have all that room!Customer Review: Awesome for the price

I bought this memory card for my Canon SD1100is, it works great and at 8MP can hold about 1,900 pictures. If only I would have waited until they came out with the frustration-free packaging for this! That was by far the most annoying part, trying to get into the thing. I've only recently moved away from the world of tapes and discs as recording mediums. With last months purchase of a new flash-based camcorder, I finally moved into the world of SD and microSD cards. Compared to tapes which need to be rewinded and handled with extreme care, SD cards is in it's own world in terms of convience and storage.
This Transcend model 8GB has worked perfectly this past month. Everything recorded is stored properly by this SD card. Once I am done with my recording I transfer the footage to my hard-drive and the SD card is free and open for a new round of recordings. 8GB gives about 2 hrs recording time for my camcorder at the highest setting, just right. This is a great item.

This product works very well. The only problem I had was when I took it to Walmart to print photos, the computers could not read it directly. When I inserted it into the slot, the computer froze. I took it to CVS and it did the same thing. I was frustrated. However, I decided to us my SD card reader instead and it worked perfectly. Since then I have not experienced any problem. It works fine with my computer and camera.
I recommend it to any one who takes lots of pictures and like video recording like me. I recorded one hour video and it was great. I don't have to worry about deleting pictures to create more space. I have plenty of space. Go for it!
