The Transcend card reader/8GB SDHC card combo is a great value at the price I paid. The card reader is a bit slow, but it's almost not worth consideration considering that the only time I would use it would be when no other card reader (such as a built-in or dedicated multicard reader) is available. The fastest card reader is the one you actually have...
I wish I could buy all my SDHC cards this way and I hope that this vlaue package stays around for a while.

This combo was at a great price so I snatched up two of them. the cards are excellent. I notice no lag time at all when taking large sized photos on my Nikon D40. The read/write time is very quick with no wait on either (at least on my camera).
The card reader itself is small and has a small profile which is good for those people who have computers with USB ports that are on top of each other.
Both items work well and I have had no problems to date with either.

I bought this because it was cheap and it came with an SDHC card reader (my old card reader couldn't read SDHC). As far as I can tell, it works perfectly fine, and the class 6 SDHC card seems faster than my old SD cards. The SD/SDHC card is inserted perpendicular to the reader, which is a little weird, but it works. I would have preferred something that doesn't stick out so much, or sticks out the back instead of the side, but this is a minor complaint.Customer Review: Perfect!

I use this adapter all the time, every days.
The SDHC card does provide enough storage space for my multiple cameras and is easily interchangeable with others.
The adapter is what made the deal sweet for me. I have forgotten about USB keys and their useless softwares that are trying to install themselves for backups...
So far, I have not found any SDHC card that the adapter would refuse.
I would not mind getting two.

I read about the packaging alternatives Amazon now offers on some items and that's fantastic in my book because some items are very difficult to open when locked up in plastic. That is fine for a retail store but buying online we don't need all those security methods.
This memory card is an 8 GB plus class 6 making it fast! The little reader allows me to just plug it into my computer without special software installed. Great package!
