Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Transcend 8 GB Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory Card TS8GSDHC6Customer Review: Great Product/Great Value Summary: 5 Stars
This flash memory card is a very good product. Class 6 is the newest/best type of Flash Memory available (as of 2009). It holds over 3500 images on my Cannon SD 790IS camera (10 mega pixels), or nearly 5 hours of video on high resolution.
Transferring the images to my HP Desktop was very fast and easy with no loss of data.
PROS: lots of storage, even at high resolution on my camera I can take hours of video or thousands of pictures.
value. many people feel that they cannot trust an "off-brand" product. For example, if they have a Sony camera they must have a Sony memory card, even if it is twice the price. Even though this product is not a Sony/HP make, it does a fantastic job for less $$.
CONS: there really aren't any, maybe price? 8 GB is a lot more than most people need but the price on AMAZON.COM was cheaper than 4 GB offerings at most other stores.
OVERALL: I would definately recommend this product to anyone.
Customer Review: Fast & Cheap Summary: 5 Stars
8 gigs of Class 6 storage space for my Olympus E-P1. It's fast (which is awesome, since I shoot RAW stills and some video), it's cheap (which is rad since I'm a student), and it's from a brand that I've never had a problem with (pretty sweet, since I love stuff that works).
I picked up two of these kids for shooting, since there's no buzzkill like having to stop in the middle of a concert, hike, tour, etc. and have to turn off the camera, unload the memory card, stow it, and put in a fresh one. Or worse, deleting pictures one-by-one to make room for more. These hold around 550 RAW pictures straight outta the E-P1. That's PLENTY to edit down later without having to worry about going through in-camera while shooting, trying to decide whether to keep or delete pictures so you can take more. Trust me. Just open the box, shove it in your camera, and blast away.
Do yourself a favor and buy these. I want you to. Your camera wants you to.
Do it.

Customer Review: Does what it's supposed to! Summary: 5 Stars
The card arrived relatively quickly. One thing I really loved about the packaging, was the fact that on the back, there was a little picture describing how you're supposed to open it. I don't know if it's just me being totally oblivious or what, but I don't remember ever seeing these kind of packaging including directions before. And it was awesome because I personally never knew that's how you're supposed to cut it open (cut along the edge)! It saved me a LOT of pain that's for sure.
That said, the card itself is excellent. I'm using it with my Panasonic Lumix TZ5 digital camera. It went in and even without formatting, i was able to take photos immediately. I did format, though, in case there are any problems in the future. I've only used this card+camera combo a couple of times, but so far there have been no issues.
A solid card investment, and definitely worth the price (when I bought it, it was $18 approximately).
Customer Review: Excellent SDHC Card at Unbeatable Price Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this card to use in my MP3 player (one of the Insignia models from Best Buy). Having bought into the Sandisk hype for years, I decided the substantially lower cost of the Transcend made it worth a try. It works great and the class 6 speed is very fast compared to slower cards. The lifetime warranty can't be beat.
I've used it for 6 months with no issues at all. I'm so impressed that I'm buying another to upgrade the smaller 2Gb card in my wife's Nikon D40. The price on this card fluctuates, so with a little patience you can get it less than $20 (Fall 08).
As others have commented, please note that this card is a high capacity (SDHC) card. It is not compatible with every SD device in existence. Do your homework before you buy to make sure your device and/or card reader works with SDHC cards. Don't assume!
Bottom line: Highly recommended for devices that accept SDHC cards.
