Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Transcend 16 GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card with Card Reader TS16GSDHC6-S5WCustomer Review: Excellent for Canon HF100 Summary: 5 Stars
I bought 2 of these, and being class 6 they work great for the Canon HF100 HD video camera. The handy USB adapter means that you don't have to use a card reader. If you use this with a HF100 and have a PS3, you can take the recorded card out of the video camera, put it in the usb adapter and plug it directly into the usb port on the PS3 and play the files directly. It couldn't be easier than that. The usb adapter also means easy transfer of video files to your computer without the need to use a cord to your video camera or use of a card reader. Excellent. I normally will buy Sandisk memory, but so far this is working without problems.
Customer Review: Perfect for my Canon XSi Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this SDHC card to use in my Canon Digital Rebel XSi. I shoot in RAW and haven't needed my back up card yet. It writes quickly and I haven't experienced any lag time. The card reader that comes with the card is compact and easy to use. I love that I can throw it in my camera bag and then there is no need for me to lug around the cables to connect my camera to the computer, which I have previously had to do because the card reader that is built into my 1 year old computer won't read the SDHC card due to the capacity being too high. I would highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a high capacity HD card.
Customer Review: Affordable capacity for the Panasonic Lumix TZ5 Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my Lumix TZ5. Probably a little bit overkill for pics alone, but I figured I'd be taking a reasonable amount of VGA video. Anyways, it works perfectly. Simple plug and play. Have never had an issue with recording video or pictures and I love the card reader that is included. Saves me the hassle of getting a seperate one and with that reader, I can literally have all my pics and videos uploaded to computer in minutes! Be careful, you need the SDHC adapter as most SD computer slots will not work with an SDHC card. I looked around and this was by far the most affordable 16GB SDHC card I found.
Customer Review: Bargain high speed, high capacity storage Summary: 5 Stars
There is not much to be said about such a mundane device: it just works. I own three of these cards (bought the first one more than six months ago) and they have been performing flawlessly. Read and write performance is fast enough that they have no problem keeping up with my Canon DSLR or my compact camera while recording HD video.
The bundled reader is very small and convenient.
If you don't need the reader, you can save yourself a couple of bucks by ordering the Frustration-Free Packaging version.
Customer Review: I'm glad I bought them Summary: 5 Stars
They work just fine, which is really the important thing!
I was surprised how fast it read/wrote to the computer (even with my non-powered hub, PCI usb card, and feeble old Pentium III). Much, much faster that downloading straight from the camera. (I've even used it to transfer other data -- it's faster than my regular usb memory stick.)
I'm glad I got the 16GB; the 32 is more than twice the price. 16GB in the camera, plus 8GB spare in my pocket, is really all I need for what I do. And I don't panic if I've forgotten to transfer-off my old photos the next time I go out to shoot.
