Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Transcend 16 GB Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory Card TS16GSDHC6ECustomer Review: Excellent card Summary: 5 Stars
I upgraded from a Transcend 8GB to this 16GB card for my new panasonic lumix zs1 camera. Although the 8GB was quite enough for me as I never even reached close to running out of memory, I was fascinated by the thought of how much a 16Gb can hold. I was told that the bigger flash cards cause all kinds of trouble like not being able to access photos and losing data. I have had no problems at all with this 16GB card. It works like a charm and is fast with data transfer as I have been making movies with no sticking or stopping for data transfer reasons. People like me who want massive storage space on their camera so that they do not ever have to download to a computer (or very infrequently), I highly recommend this Transcend 16GB flash card.
Customer Review: Great Purchase Summary: 5 Stars
Purchased the 16GB SDHC card for my Canon Powershot SX10is. Camera specs called for a class 4 and this SDHC is a class 6. The memory card arrived in a timely manner in a frustration free packaging which is a definite bonus. Inserted the card into my camera and did a low level format which took only a few seconds. I did it twice because I missed it the first time. I'm not sure how many photos I can take with this memory card but at 10 megapixel each, it is a lot. Anyway, I can take 3+ hours of 640 X 480 videos (standard definition) as well. For the price that Amazon is selling this card, you be crazy not to purchase this memory card size especially when other vendors are charging more for 8GB SDHC.
Customer Review: So far, so good. Summary: 5 Stars
Packaging was easy.
Working fine without an issue,
except on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5A 9.1MP Digital Camera with 10x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Blue) when I go to video mode it does not tell me how long I have until I run out of space/time to record. I would tend to think this is the camera, but camera does display time remaining with 1 GB card. Camera limits to roughly 15 minutes of video, and since can record that in HD, and still have room available on SDHC card could be the reason. So, probably is the camera, just thought I would mention. Not a big deal.
Customer Review: Great product Summary: 5 Stars
This product works very well. The only problem I had was when I took it to Walmart to print photos, the computers could not read it directly. When I inserted it into the slot, the computer froze. I took it to CVS and it did the same thing. I was frustrated. However, I decided to us my SD card reader instead and it worked perfectly. Since then I have not experienced any problem. It works fine with my computer and camera.
I recommend it to any one who takes lots of pictures and like video recording like me. I recorded one hour video and it was great. I don't have to worry about deleting pictures to create more space. I have plenty of space. Go for it!
Customer Review: Affordable 16 GB SDHC Class 6 Card - Highly Recommended Summary: 5 Stars
The Transcend 16 GB SDHC Card is more than functional and very affordable for a card of this size and performance. I use two of these cards in my JVC Everio GZ-HM200 Dual SD High-Def Camcorder (Black) and have been pleased with the performance.
I have used various capacity Transcend cards in my cameras and MP3 players for quite some time and have never had any problems.
The Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging is a real plus and saves about a half hour of fighting plastic packaging. I'll look for Frustration-Free Packaging in the future.
