Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of TDK 16X DVD+R 100PK SpindleCustomer Review: TDK DVD 4.7 x 16 DVD+R Summary: 5 Stars
Find these to work like a charm with HP DVD burner for copying movies, never a coaster either, (HP DVD writer 300E) or when I record off cable with my Sony RDR-GX330. Great price and nice thing is I do not have to make the drive 20 miles round trip to the mall, find a parking space and sometimes be told sorry out of stock, plus have not had anyone that I have given a DVD to say it did not play in their player, so not trip to the mall, save $4.00 on gas plus about $5.00 cheaper than in store price, how can you loose, it would appear to be a no brainier..
Customer Review: Best Buy Summary: 5 Stars
Although they are manufactured by CMC, which has a poor reputation with some folks, these are the finest 16x blank DVDs I have found for the price at Amazon. I paid $39.99 for 100 with free shipping, and have burned almost 100 with zero defects. The light gray top surface leaves as much room as possible for writing on with a marker, too (Imation DVDs, also made by CMC, are terrible in this respect, and no other brand I have tried is as good). To see who manufactured your blank DVDs, try DVD Identifier freeware from http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/
Customer Review: Awesome ! Summary: 5 Stars
I've bought my fair share of DVD'Rs - I always buy them in the 100 packs (since I use a lot) and have tried pretty much all brands... Sony HP Memorex Fuji TDK Verbatim...
I won't really do any comparison but from my experience, there wasn't anything about TDK that would make me turn away. The last set I bought was the TDK 100 DVD+R (the one for this review) and I got only 2 bad DVDs out of 100... I wouldn't say that's bad.
So far, they all seem to be about the same . Choose whichever one seems cheap at the moment.... :)
Customer Review: TDK is a good brand Summary: 5 Stars
I haven't been disappointed with any TDK CDs or DVDs that I have puchased. I no longer buy Maxell because I was getting up to 10 bad ones in each spindle. Even though Maxell is the least expensive per spindle, it is a major waste of time to deal with defective media and that obviously affects the price per disc. I complained about this to my brother-in-law who is an audio and video DVD hobbyist. He told me to go try TDK and he was right, as far as I can tell.
Customer Review: Great value, no problems Summary: 5 Stars
These are fine, a very good value. No complaints, no problems. I store my VHS tapes on them, because VHS and VCRs are going out fast, obviously. If you need a place to store these, I recommend this: MaxellBlank Media, CD/DVD Paper Sleeve 100 (just like the ones you get in books with CD companions). I recommend these, and the aforementioned CD sleeves.
