Just got this Smart Charger and so far I couldn't be happier! I already trashed one battery by forgetting and leaving it on the charger to long so when I ran across this smart charger I was very happy to say the least! I actually think that for 40 dollars you can actually buy a cheap vacuum for that, that they should have built this into the charger that comes with the Swivel Sweeper a friend estimated the additional cost at approximately 5 cents or less for the circuit that accomplishes this. But I guess they expect you to burn up a lot of batteries which means extra income for Ontel. One other thing when I placed one of my batteries in the charger it just blinks there's no mention of this condition in the instructions but I assume that it means the battery is dead and can't be charged. Now I'm just hoping it lasts.
