This is a very good tripod. I have a Canon 35mm SLR with 4 lenses, and a Nikon DSLR with 2 lenses(no lenses over 1 1/2 pounds) It is steady and solid with both cameras. I've used it indoors and out (dirt and sand) and in breezy weather. Not sure how it would do in a hurricane, but personally I don't want to find out. After reading sever reviews on tripods, I went with one of the cheaper ones. And I am happy I did. I am sure the 150 dollar plus tripods are nicer, but this one is pretty good. I use it with my D80 and it has been great. Quality is pretty good considering price. I do wish I had ordered the carrying case for it though.Customer Review: better than expected, great budget tripod!

i purchased this as my first tripod based on reviews and price.
for under 30 dollars, i couldn't be happier. it has great features, very nice fit and finish, and feels sturdy.
in my opinion, it would be hard to find a better entry-level tripod for the price. recommended!!!

I recieved the product in great condition. All pieces were in the box and the tripod worked better than expected. I seen several tripods for way more money and they were not even close in comparison. this one is by far greater in height and stability. i use it often and have NO complaints.Customer Review: Excellent

I'm using this with a Nikon D40 with the 70/300 m lens. The tripod is perfect. It's fast and easy to put up and break down. It's just the right height. It' sturdily built and the hook at the bottom allows you to add extra weight in really windy situations. I couldn't ask for more.
