I HAD A TRIPOD, BUT I NEDDED SOMETHING SMALL TO TAKE WITH ME ON TRIPS WHEN I TRAVELED BY TRAIN OR PLANE. THIS WAS THE ONE!! IT FITS INSIDE OF MY SUITCASE WITH NO PROBLEM. GREAT LITTLE TRIPOD!!
