There was something about having a digital photo frame myself that just wasn't appealing. I do a lot of photography, and actual prints of the photos were always my preference. I've given digital frames as gifts many times before, to my mother, friends, etc., but decided to keep this one when I received it for review.
There are a lot of photos I've taken over the years that I love but aren't exactly of the quality I expect to go through the process of printing and framing. This frame provides a solution to that problem, as I can just rotate as many pictures as I want through, some of which have wonderful memories attached that I am now reminded of daily.
The frame itself is very attractive, not the typical black frame white matte that most digital frames adhere to, so it fits in better with the cherry frames and offwhite mattes that fit my decor. The screen's resolution is high enough that viewing from nearby doesn't make it a pixely mess, and adding or removing photos from the memory is simple. The aspect ratio is a little wider for most of my pictures so I tend to pre-crop them before adding them to the memory. So far I'm really happy with the frame, it seems to be the perfect brightness for my study without blinding me when the lights are out.
All in all I'm quite happy with this frame and happy to have one to keep for myself (finally!)...
