Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of HDMI Cable (6.5 feet/2 meters)Customer Review: Excellent Value Summary: 5 Stars
This cable has excellent build quality. And for the price, it is a best-buy. I have only tried 480p resolution so far, and the picture is amazing even on my 32' LCD TV. The difference between the regular video cable and the HDMI connection using this cable is actually visible. Considering that an HDMI cable is simply a multiple conductor cord, there really isn't that much that could affect the quality of the signal. This isn't a radio wave, so it is not that sensitive. Low resistance and relatively short cable length would give you the same result as "other" $100 HDMI cables. However, an issue might arise as the length of the cable increases. However, it does not apply in this case. Buy this product, and save lots of money.
Customer Review: Eforcity HDMI cable and me Summary: 5 Stars
I just received this cable yesterday and I'm already completely satisfied with my purchased. I needed an HDMI cable for my new 26' HDTV, I have a DVD player that can upscale to 720p only through an HDMI cable. Shopped around and found these cables. Works great with the DVD player, even tested the cables on my Xbox 360 and it works great with it. I figured these aren't the best cables money can buy, but since I only want to use 720p with my DVD/360, these work fine.
A note on 1080p, you will only see a noticeable difference with 1080p if you have an HDTV greater than 40', otherwise the detail is very little. I don't know how well these cables perform with 1080p, but they are perfect with 720p.
Customer Review: no way to beat the price Summary: 5 Stars
One HDMI cable is just as good as another really - no matter what best buy would have you believe when they try to sell you one with gold plating for $80. So go with this. I bought them from eforcity - they arrived on time and in good shape, plugged them in, et viola! My advice to anyone in the market for HDTVs is: buy 2-3 toslink and HDMI cables ahead of time. This way, when you get the TV you are ready to hook it up and get the optimal result. Also, order a few extra ones b/c they are prone to conking out over time from wear and when they do you don't want to be at the mercy of the big box retailer and their price tags. Can't go wrong at $4 (with shipping) now, can you?
Customer Review: Why Spend More? Summary: 5 Stars
Needed an HDMI cable for our new Samsung 50" LED DLP and matching DVD-R160 upconverting DVD player/recorder so started doing some research which led me to this listing on Amazon. I was admittedly a bit leery about such an inexpensive cable but the reviews convinced me it was worth the minor financial risk to find out for myself. Eforcity got it here *very* quickly (much faster than I was expecting) with cable quality appearing to be excellent, big thumbs up to them! With both the DVD player & TV set to 1080p the picture quality is superb and the connections snug. I can find no fault with this cable and highly recommend it, especially for the price!
Customer Review: HDMI cables on the cheap Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great product! How many times have you gone to the big box retailers or to specialty stores and found 6' HDMI cables for $50-$100?? The least expensive HDMI cable I could find in my area was $30. I checked Amazon and found this cable and decided to give it a try. It works just like the expensive cables at a fraction of the price. Do yourself a favor and save a TON of money and buy a few of these cables. Shipping and the cable cost added all together was still about 1/5 of what a cable like this cost at a local discount retailer. Buy 2 or 3 at a time and keep some around as spares. At this price and quality you can't go wrong.
