You can also hit your hand with a hammer.
Both won't feel very good to you, unless you like disappointment and pain.
There is no disappointment or pain associated with these cables. This is my 2nd purchase and when I need cables, this is the source for INEXPENSIVE HIGH QUALITY CABLES (notice I did not use the word "cheap").
Get rid of those RGB component cables, if you have an HDMI connection and start seeing what you should see. These cables are going to save you BIG BUCKS and put a smile on your face.
As far as shipping, the cables arrived sooner than expected (2 days from the Midwest)with instant order recognition and e mail notification of shipping and tracking number.
You can buy from a big box store, pay big bucks, and sales tax that will be more than the shipping for this item, or you can shop here and smile.
The choice is yours.

Found these for pennies on the dollar, and at 2 of them +shipping, I was still WAY under price for 1 you could find at one of the chain stores.
I found no difference in picture/sound quality compared to those "creature" cables, or store brands. Outer jacket and plug housing might be slightly different, but it's still a cable, and it's probably tucked\twisted\knotted away behind all your devices and you won't even see it.
Almost all of them are probably made in the same overseas factory anyways!
I don't know about you, but after I buy something (for keeps), I usually rip apart the packaging and throw it away.
But... if I ever need some fancy graphics and packaging that's difficult to open, I'll be sure to spend more money for it. (Can you smell the sarcasm?)
Because after all, it's only a cable!

At this price, I ordered 3 extra cables just in case one didn't work. It was not necessary. The first three I used worked perfectly and I was able to replace a grocery sack full of wires with three small wires. By doing this I was able to get rid of a "bird's nest" of wires and really cleaned up behind the TV/sound system.
I can't say that HDMI cables work better than component connections, but they make the process much easier as well as an overall neater setup. I was getting ready to spend over $50 for each cable (over $150 for three) and thought a $3+ investment would at least be worth trying. I don't understand how any store can justify charging over $50 for a simple cable when one of these cables work perfectly.
Highly recommended and as an added bonus, the cables arrived in 2 days after ordering. One of my better purchases.

After picking up an HDMI switcher for use with my DirecTv box, DVD Player and Xbox 360, I needed 3 HDMI cables. The cheapest cable I could find in any of my local retail stores was $26 for a 3ft one. I decided to look online and came across these. After seeing the low price of these cables, I decided to order a fourth cable to replace the Monster cable I was currently using (too stiff, very hard to hide in my entertainment center). All four that I ordered (including shipping) cost me less than one, half as long, would have cost me in the store. These cables arrived sooner and are of higher quality than expected. After swapping out the Monster cable with one of these, I can tell no difference in picture quality. Really, the title of this review is the only thing you really need to read. I could sit here and tell you about HDMI 1.2/1.3 spec and what it means for you, but you'd just end up confused and wondering whether or not you should buy this. The fact is, as a digital cable, either it works or it doesn't, so spending a ton of money on another brand of cable (lets say Monster, they're price astronomically enough) isn't going to get a better picture for you. I bought two of these, one to go from my HD-DVD player to my LG 720P 42" plasma TV and another to go from my PS3 to the same TV. In both cases, the cable works wonderfully. The picture is great and the sound works without a hitch. I've got no complains, especially not at less than $3 per cable (shipped from EForcity).
