This cable was exactly what I needed to hook up my PS3 to a 19" monitor I use for travel. It did exactly what I needed and eliminated a cable from my travel bag. You can't beat the price! Even with shipping, it was less than the cost of an adapter alone if purchased from Best Buy. I'm very happy with this purchase.
I got it VERY quickly. Within three or four days, actually, and I live all the way in Hawaii! Excellent.
To top it off, the cable works very well. I've been testing it extensively for a few weeks now and haven't noticed any problems. It is definitely better than using a DVI to VGA solution, hands down.

I love this cable! It's the best and cheapest cables there is. It's better than spending $30 and up on a cable. For example, Best Buy's converter ONLY is about $30 and I want the whole thing so I got this instead and paid just about $2 for everything. Unlike several of the reviews for this product, I've had absolutely no problems. I use this cable to connect my Macbook Pro to my Panasonic Plasma TV to watch Hulu (via Hulu Desktop App). The experience is excellent. Cable seems to be made with quality strength. For the price, you can't go wrong. I use this cable to connect my 360 to my monitor. The picture is just as good as hooking up with my hdmi/hdmi. This is a top-notch cable. Good price and excellent quality!! Just be aware that this hdmi/dvi cable DOES NOT transfer sound the same way that an hdmi/hdmi cable would (for those who didn't already know that.) Other than that, BUY THIS CABLE!
