This mouse is quite sensitive. At first I clicked the right mouse button a lot by accident (just letting your finger rest is almost enough to click it). Scroll wheel works fine, and middle clicking is actually really easy (it doesn't scroll when you try to click). High/Low sensitivity is great for Boot Camp (Windows uses lower sensitivity than OS X). This mouse is very light, and tracks very well on all kinds of surfaces. You need a pretty big hand, I imagine; I scroll with my middle finger, so to stretch the middle finger over there while keeping the ring finger on the side would be harder for small hands. I don't think I'll ever need another mouse...Customer Review: Best gaming and ergonomic mouse ever!

I must say that SteelSeries Ikari Laser Mouse is the best mouse on the Earth. As soon as I put my right hand on it, it literally feels like I'm NOT holding a mouse. My right hand melts on it. And also, the mouse's left and right buttons are very easy to click, so RTS players who play StarCraft:Brood War or StarCraft 2 will feel no discomfort in their right fingers when using this mouse. And lastly, the "Free Move" setting on its driver will completely disable mouse-correcting prediction. I have used both Logitech MX518 and Razer Salmosa in the past, but they can't beat SteelSeries Laser Ikari's comfortable ergonomics and versatility.Customer Review: not only for gamers

It's a bit pricey, but good value. I'm not a gamer, but spend a lot of time with graphics programs, like Photoshop. The shape suits my (somewhat large) hands and is comfortable for long periods of use. It supports my hand in a relaxed, comfortable position, and I find it easy to control for both fast and precise movement.
The ability to switch the mouse sensitivity on the fly is a real advantage when changing from browsing the web to doing fine detail work in photoshop. I find myself using the mouse for operations where I used to reach for a graphics tablet.

The IKARI laser mouse has been the best mouse I have ever used. I have always had problems with hand cramping prior to using the Ikari and have not experienced the same problems since. The traction and precision is excellent and I have received numerous compliments from friends on how it looks and feels. I have definitely become accustomed to using this mouse and will never use another one again. It has improved my game tremendously and I know that because of it, I will continue to headshot and help my team win more tournaments. -- Impulsive

I have used thirty plus mice over the last fifteen years and the Ikari mouse is simply the best I've ever used. The construction is solid and the speed and accuracy is unparalleled. I am a big time gamer and mice ergonomics and functionality is at a premium for my to allow maximum fragging over many many hours. This mouse gives me just that.
