Customer Review: Great for saving your laptop

This product is a godsend in that I don't have to worry about staticly discharging to my laptop. Most people who have carpet in their houses or any othe rplace don't realize the type of damage a static discharge could have on their computers, that the culmitiave damage on the circuts, electial wiring, attchment prongs and the harddrive will lead to a devisitatig failures. But this product is something that every computer user should purchase if they have a home office or a work office. This pad is large enough to place over your entire desktop surface and have plenty of room for assessories with printers and such. This product should exentd the life of your computer equipment by years. It does this by allowing the low end electiral charge in your body to head somewhere else other than through your equipment and prevents you from getting that sharp pain on your skin when you touch something metal.
Word of advice have a screwdriver around to you can run the discharge cord that comes with this to screw of an electrial switch or something that is grounded whn you are in an home office.
