I paid apx. $70 for this product. It worked for about a week. Then it quit. Well we decided to take it back, but then it started working again. We thought maybe we hadn't pushed the drawer back in all the way, or something else. We made excuse after excuse for it, but eventually it just wasn't worth the fiddling to make it work. So we set it on the floor and decided we'd use it for receipts. The shredder was having NONE OF THAT. It basically sat on the floor for a week, then when we went to use it again, it looked up and said NOPE! That was it. Plus, Staples cons you with their 1 year warranty.
Piece of made-in-China trash. Don't buy. I'm going to look for another, cheaper, less crappy shredder-- and never buy ANYTHING from Staples again. Not even looseleaf paper.
