I was actually shocked how nice this was. It completely protects the iPod. Its rubber, so it's shock proof. Has screen protector, which was a genious invention. The clip on the back it flawless and strong.
A few silly problems:
1. The black rubber attracts dust and lint.
2. Docks virtuably become un-usable.
3. Lint, dust and dirt can get inside of case and scratch up chrome finish.
That's about it. Its the best case out there, even better than the ones by Apple.

I admit, I'm pretty clumsy. I wanted something that would be both functional and attractive. I looked at a few items at the Apple store, and did some searching online. I wasn't terribly impressed until I found the Speck ToughSkin. This case is perfect. The rubber is neither too thin, nor too thick, and provides just the right amount of cushion for an unanticipated fall. More importantly, I can access the jog wheel easily, and I can remove the silly belt clip for easy carrying in my jacket pocket.Customer Review: OK, I'M A WEE BIT CYNICAL!

THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A MAGNIFICENT PRODUCT THAT DOES IT'S JOB IN PROTECTING THE IPOD CLASSIC. OBVIOUSLY, A VERY COSTLY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. ALL GREAT REVIEWS HERE OF COURSE, AND JUSTIFIABLY SO. INCLUDING MY OWN. WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY'LL PROBABLY DO THOUGH? I GUARANTEE SPECK DISCONTINUES IT IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE. The toughskin helps me feel more secure when I'm on the train with my Ipod, and really whenever I'm holding it. It does make the Ipod more bulky, but like grown ups always used to say, SAFETY FIRST! This is definitely worth it, especially if you're spending $300+ on the Ipod. Might as well protect it. I've suffered through a dropped Ipod that never quite worked right any more, so this purchase was automatic.Customer Review: Awsome product

Holy crap is this thing awesome! It fits my OCD lifestyle of wanting to protect anything with a screen or that is expensive. It really helps with handling the ipod as well. The belt clip is a lot beefier than others i've seen so i'm not worried to walk around with it at the machine shop i work at. It shipped USPS with and expected 5 days to deliver but i got it in 2 because i live near an amazon warehoue.
