I inserted my iPod Classic into this case and was amazed at how sturdy it was and at the great fit. It fit easily into the case and the added hard screen protector really protects the iPod screen from the bumps and bruises it can be subjected to under normal everyday use. The beltclip that comes with it is sturdy and works well, though I would have moved it more toward the bottom of the case. It is too high on the case for me, but that is a matter of personal opinion. The case has cutouts for all of the connectors on the iPod, including the hold button. As far as style goes, this case just looks tough. Some people may say that they feel this case doesn't have a very nice presentation, but I believe the case's looks fit with the level of protection it provides. Overall, this is a great case and I would highly recommend it.Customer Review: Space age technology, at your finger tips! Well, it looks like it anyway.

If you are a Sci-Fi fan, then this is right up your alley. It is made of soft rubber, doesn't smell like normal rubber, but it looks REALLY cool! The protection screen is very nice as well. I have messed up 2 protection screens while saving my actually screen itself. One small drawback is the screen can scratch easy, but it protects what it has too. Also, the belt clip is a little cheap as well. If you are not careful, you can break the belt clip. I have not found a place to get a replacement for either the screen or belt clip, so I had to buy a new case. In the end, it was still worth it. The dial is exposed so that can get scratched and marred up.
The only way to make this a perfect item: sell the screen and belt clip as separate replacement items.
Highly recommend getting this item.

I purchased this toughskin for my boyfriend who carries and uses his iPod everywhere....from drumming in his church band to rock climbing in his jeep to riding his Yamaha YZF600R motorcycle...and even listening to the stereo at home. This case fits his 160 gig iPod perfectly (leaving in the insert). He doesn't use a belt clip, so we removed it. The iPod is now fully protected in the diverse environments he exposes it to. Also, previous cases we had didn't allow clean access to the center controls. This cover allows easy access to the center controls. He does use the optional screen protector...again, it fits perfectly. If you plan to use your iPod in extreme conditions or you just want a really tough cover to protect your iPod when you drop it, this is the cover for you!Customer Review: Abuse proof! i've bought a few iPod covers in my day, and none so far have survived the concrete jungle of new york city (and the thousand times i've dropped it) like this one! the rubber is thick and very protective, and it is ridged, which is super handy to wrap the earbud wire around when not in use. it comes with adjustable attachments for those of us with 80gig iPods. the belt clip is also very sturdy, and i have used it as a cord winder for over 6 months. this also comes with a protective screen for your iPod screen - which doesn't scratch at all! and they leave the touch wheel uncovered - thank god!!!! why do all the other companies cover the wheel?? it's the worst idea they've ever had!

I've wrapped three iPods with the ToughSkin, the first one in 2005. They are good cases which are quite durable, I've never had the case break or tear and they are quite shock resistant. In my opinion the rubber handles a fall better than a metal or plastic case would. I've dropped my iPods more times than I can count, but they always work afterwords.
I gave my brother an iPod with the Speck case, and it's endured through two separate tours to Iraq & Afghanistan and back without any damage. They're hard to beat, especially for the price.
At the risk of sounding like a plant, I'd just like to add that Speck is a great company to deal with. I had one of the little plastic screen protectors fall out and they sent me two promptly and without charge.
