I put this thing on the day it came in the mail, and dropped it the next day. Thankfully, it kept my purchase from harm. The protection here is great, that was precisely what i was looking for.
The skin is made of a tough rubber it feels like, it was a little hard to get it over the iPod, but it certainly stays on without any trouble. The screen protector is awesome, it has a ring of rubber around the back of it to keep it from scratching up against your iPod's screen.
This was an excellent purchase for me, im overseas right now, and need something to keep all the sand out of my iPod, and keep it from getting beat up in the truck. Thank you Speck Products.

This is a great iPod carrying device that works well, even while working out. The "skin" protects against dropping and all sorts of jarring. It is not water proof, but it is clumsy proof for sure. The skin covers most of the iPod without blocking access to the scroll wheel, the bottom ports, or the hold bottom. The iPod does not typically slide inside the skin (won't fall out), but it may shift slightly, causing accidental button pushes. There is a screen protector that prevents all manner of scratches too. Searched far and wide for a good case for my new ipod nano 2nd gen. This case is very satisfactory. Saw others on the shelves at area retailers costing $20 or more, made of less shock-absorbing material. This skin is the one you want. It has the same belt clip that comes with the razor cell phones, which is good. Ipod screen is covered with thick plexiglass like stuff, click wheel is recessed and exposed. Good value for your money. Am happy with decision to buy one and would do it again.Customer Review: Awesome for the car!!

I don't have an ipod docking station in my car and I used to keep my Nano in a soft jewellery bag to prevent the screen from scratches. The Toughskin also has a clear screen protector to view the songs, etc. The tough material definitely protects the nano. I now leave the Nano in my cup holder. It also has a detachable clip to clip it to your belt / clothes. A definite buy if you are not looking for an aesthetic cover but for a rugged used protective case.Customer Review: great fit

I broke my last case after dropping it once and knew I needed a durable case that I could also clip on at the gym. Found it with the ToughSkin! My ipod fit perfectly. I read a review that said the clip may scratch the back so I put a few strips of masking tape on there to hopefully protect it. So far the ipod fits perfectly and is really easy to clip on during gym workouts. I've dropped it and it bounced nicely with no apparent damage. Good buy.
