This is exactly what I wanted. It's great protection for the ipod and I like that the screen cover doesn't actually touch the ipod screen - it hovers slightly above it. It may make docking a problem for those who like to dock their ipods because this cover doesn't actually open - you have to insert the ipod through the screen opening like putting on a glove. My husband travels constantly, and this case it wonderful! He's dropped his ipod video, he stores it in his computer case, it goes everywhere he goes, and the case has kept it safe! It's very rugged, and the plastic screen cover is removable for viewing the ipod screen directly, then reinsert the plastic cover to keep it safe. I bought this case based on a suggestion from a friend. Literally the best case available for the iPod video. I recommend this to anyone who owns an iPod video. I would not recommend doing this, but I drop my iPod to the ground while I am standing up just to prove to the person I am showing it to just how good it is and the amount of protection it gives.Customer Review: Scratchless

I bought this product when I got my 80 Gig iPod... Since then I have used it extensively and have no scratches on my iPod. I have even dropped it several times. I tried 3 other cases/skins before this one and I wasn't satisfied with any of them. This case is tough as its name. It provides superior protection if dropped and the screen protector is one of the best, though I ordered a second case as the screen protector after about a year and a half of much use acquired some scratches / mars on it, but I think this is to be expected. if they had 4.5 stars I would have given it that.
