*wish i held out and been patient to wait for yellow (was backordered for 2 months when i originally ordered this in jan)*
Pros:
LOVE the satin, picked red, now my mac is a red delicious
grippy so i know i'm not going to drop it with my butterfingers
nice to have that extra added protection (been told that macbooks tend to scratch easily, so im glad i can protect it)
can use it with or w/o sleeve. i do both depending on which bag i put it in, although it is tough getting it inside the 13" neoprene skin
doesn't seem to pick up dirty stains. i've had it sitting on newpapers and nothing.
Cons:
People think i'm crazy for covering it, i guess being a mac owner, you want the world to know it's a mac, when my computer is on, you can still see the apple
Pain to take off (like other readers) i too am nervous that this is going to snap and it's not cheap to replace
don't use greasy lotion, or touch it after wolfing down fries, grease does show, pain to clean
other info:
make sure you get the right one for you model. i didn't realize that the 13" was good for the old mac. I had to order the 13"au to fit my computer. felt really dumb
my computer (when the cover is off) looks like it's still in the same shape as it was before
really wish i held out for yellow. yellow is very pretty.
