I love my new Ipod Touch.
This case wraps on easily and protects my Ipod Touch from minor bumps and potential scratches. I love the grippy texture; it's so much easier to hold the Ipod Touch with this case on.
The case has raised ridges so you can easily find and use the few buttons on the Ipod. It also has a cutout for cord and head phone jack.
I use my Ipod in the car with a tape player adapter, and this case keeps it securely gripped to my console area.
Combined with a screen protector, I feel pretty comfortable carrying my Ipod just by slipping it into a pocket.
Everything feels right on this case. It will pick up cat hair and dust, but it cleans up easily with running water.
One minor issue: Some of the black rubber marred the Ipod Touch case, but it cleaned right up with a microfiber cloth.

I recently got the PixelSkin for my iTouch (2g). It very easily slides on the iTouch, but would not be able to accidently slip off. In addition, the buttons around the ipod are still usable despite being covered up by the rubber cover. A well thought design.
Frankly, what's best about the PixelSkin is it protects enough for the iTouch to be able to take a drop or two, while still conforming to the iTouch's slim composure. The rubber-like material they use is somewhat amazing...it looks like rubber, stretches and bends like rubber, and almost feels like rubber, the main difference is that this material is less inclined to get "caught up" while putting in your pocket or else where. It slides very well into a pocket or coat, unlike others.
Granted it's $15 or so, but it's also protecting a $300 music player we take everywhere.
Well worth the cost in my book!

So I just got my touch last week, and didn't order a case right away since it seems almost like choosing one is a bigger decision choosing than the iPod ;) There are just so many styles. And people's opinions tend to vary widely. I was looking at the Switcheasy Rebel Touch, which has some good reviews, but it's $30 and I've heard it's hard to put on. Then I saw the Speck Pixelskin. Close to 50 5 star reviews, and for $16? Sold. The protection seems good, the ports are still easily accessible, and the buttons still work great. Not bad looking IMO either. It feels more like rubber than silicone, so I'm hoping lint won't be much of an issue. The only caveat is that no screen protection is included, although I'm not yet convinced of the need for any. The screen is glass, so it shouldn't scratch easily unless it's abused. Anyway, you can't go wrong with this case.Customer Review: An Excellent Case for the 2G Touch

The first thing I saw when I looked at this was its price. $16 is a lot to fork up for something as insignificant as a case, right? Boy, was I wrong.
This case is perfect in almost every way. It offers amazing grip, a sleek look, and excellent protection. This really is the definitive case for the iPod Touch 2G and a must-have product for any owner.
There is just one teeny-tiny flaw with the case: it attracts a considerable amount of dust. That shouldn't really be a problem, though, because all cases do, and it's easy to remove.
tl;dr Version: All in all, this case is well-worth its premium price tag. It offers superb grip, style, and protection. It attracts a bit of dust, but this doesn't really detract from the case's awesomeness in any way. If you own an iPod Touch 2G, here's the definitive case. Buy it!

This is my 2nd day in use, but I can already see the quality of this case. I like the grip of the case, the turtle shell design just looks plan stupid at first, but after using it, Ive grown to like it. It doesn't cover the top part of the itouch, even though, clearly there isn't any use to it. Although it still feels very very solid. The screen protector I've chosen is for the iphone, so it does have a slot for the top speaker, another useless feature, but it is for iphone. If the case covered this top part, you wouldn't be able to tell. In case your wondering, I bought the screen protector because of the reviews, I've had some bad experiences in the past, and you want something durable but usable. The main feature to like about this case, is the feel of it, it feels like a good piece of rubber. I'd say don't think about it, and just get it.
