Customer Review: Most Amazing iPod cover, ever!!!!

Last night I lost my new iPod touch. I was pretty sure it had slipped out of my pocket and into the fresh Colorado snow in our apartment parking lot. After much searching and many tears, I let it go. The next day I was still pretty bummed about my iPod. However, when I got home from work and pulled up to my parking spot, I saw the iPod just laying there face down on the ground. Shocked that it didn't get scraped away by a snow plow, I ran over to pick it up, certain it would be ruined from the snow. It looked perfectly fine. I pushed the power button; it turned on! I ran to my computer in disbelief, knowing that it would not sync after such a long night and day spent in all that melted snow. Wrong! It works perfectly. What luck!
In conclusion, I know my iPod would not have survived the bitter cold and wetness if it had not been for this amazing cover. It is durable and fits snuggly. It was like a wetsuit for my iPod. I highly recommend it. It is SO VERY WORTH THE MONEY.

I was using my iPod Touch for a few weeks before I decided I should put it in a case. I read lots of reviews and the Speck Rubberized Case definitely won my attention. It fits the iPod Touch perfectly and what's nice is that it doesn't make it too thick, 'cause we all love how thin the iPod is in the first place, right? Bought the black, really not into crazy colors. LOVE the rubber grip-ability! Some people claimed it helps you press the buttons better, but I wouldn't necessarily agree -- maybe because i have small girl hands, but I didn't have trouble before nor do i have trouble now.
I also bought the iKross screen protector - it just made sense to, because this case does not go over the screen - it just covers the back sides and ends, like the picture.
Definitely recommend the product! Cheaper than some leather cases, and no need to take time in opening the cover to change a song, etc. - it's fast to make changes on the go.

I was looking for a case that gave good protection to my ipod touch 2G and was not too bulky. Well, this is it. I didn't want a silicon rubberized case, but I decided to get this one anyway. Wow, I love it and it doesn't have the rubber feel that sticks in my pocket and it makes the ipod feel extremely sturdy and tough while not making it bulky at all. Great feel while in my hand also.
I was originally looking for a case with a stand that I could watch while on an airplane, but I didn't like any of the cases for this, so I went with this case. Great move.
You should also buy a screen saver to protect against scratches. I actually got one with my ipod purchase (ebay) and just applied it today. It's great. It's a thick film that is completely transparent and easily applied with NO bubbles.
Again, this is a great product and much better than any hard case or silicon rubber case.

I've had this skin on my iPod Touch 3G for a year now, and it is excellent in quality and functionality. Very durable, and does a great job of protecting the device. Also skid proof, which is nice. Now I'm looking for one for my iPhone that is just as good.
What I really like - it does not cover more of the device than necessary to protect it well. I hate that many skins and covers obliterate the look of the device. Not too bulky, but beefy enough to give great protection. Slip the iPod in and out of it easily - which is a nice plus.
What I don't like so much (minor gripes) - makes it difficult to slip in and out of your pockets, because the grip is so good. We can't have it both ways... so this a note but not really a complaint. You have to remove the skin for most docks or the iPod won't quite fit... again not such a big deal because it does slip on and off quite easily.

This is a great case, and there's not much to add to all the comments about what a great product it is.
I do have one tiny itty-bitty gripe about it, though--maybe enough to deduct a half- or fourth- star if that was a grading option.
Namely, the case is somewhat of a dust magnet. The material it's made from feels great . . . that sort of "tacky" (maybe not the best descriptor, but maybe it gets the idea across) rubber/plastic that gives this case the ability to impart that great "firm grip" feeling. Unfortunately, it's also what attracts the dust. The great-feeling cross-hatching also helps collect a bit of dust.
But I'll take the advantages the material and design imparts over the small dust "problem", which isn't much of one, but it is something you'll have to deal with. I do, by simply giving this great case an occasional clear-water rinse.
