Customer Review: Better the second time around!

When I first purchased my 15" MacBook Pro, I wanted to protect my investment, like many of you...so, I went to the Apple Store and purchased a Red 15" Speck See Thru Hard Case...When I got it home and installed it, each time I lifted the cover, the bottom of the protective case was pushed off by the top piece, because it did not fit correctly...I tried to adjust it and it kept doing the same thing...frustrated and angry that I had just spent $50 on a piece of plastic worth .50 cents, I took it back to the Apple Store...we tried a new one and the same thing happened, right there in the store...the sales staff was very friendly and took it in back to ask about the problem and see if they had any solutions, and they did...they suggested that I use a grinder of sorts and shave down the plastic on the top, where it was hitting the bottom panel...I said no and left the store...Well, it took me two years and lots of investigative research, but I found the same case online, at a substantial discount and said, ok, one more time!! So, I ordered it and lo and behold, it fit, no problem with the top piece pushing off the bottom and I just love it!! The extra weight is not a problem and I really like how it looks and more importantly, how it protects my investment...So, after purchasing three of these, I can honestly say, it is worth it...especially at a bargain basement price!!
