Surprisingly, this little speaker sounds pretty decent in our large kitchen/great room combination. I bought it back in February for only $20, but definitely think it's worth the $37.99 that Amazon is charging right now. Speaking of charging, was I amazed to discover that this unit DOES charge my new iPod Touch (2nd generation)! It was my understanding that it would allow the Touch to connect and play, but not charge at the same time--so this was a great surprise. It was my intention to give this as a gift but decided to keep it instead, and now I'm searching for an iHome alarm clock for our bedroom for christmas.Customer Review: Great sound...great price

I bought this after seeing it on an Amazon Gold Box. I am very impressed at the sound for the size and price! Great bass (after stepping it up a couple notches with the remote) and excellent, clear sound. Controls and charges my iPod Touch (just use the dock adapter that came with the iPod, the ones included don't fit).
The only bad thing about it is that bass and treble adjustments can only be done using the remote control. Other than that, the unit provides excellent sound, easy of use and a quick set-up right out of the box!! Excellent purchase for the price!

I bought this for use in my bed room and on the patio during BBQ's. It works great at low listening levels while I'm reading or getting ready in the morning and sounds even better with the volume way up while out side.
I tried a lot of speakers before I bought this one and it doesn't have the highest sound quality of what I tried (JBL, Bose, Altec Lansing, Logitech all beat it there) but the price/performance ratio was great.
I would recomend this for someone looking for a great speaker on a low budget.

First of all, I spent $20 on this unit with free shipping through Prime. For that price I love it. I keep it in the bathroom to listen while I shower and get ready.
-The remote is nice and it sounds good in a small room.
-The bass is shallow
The unit is def worth $20 but I wouldn't pay any more for it, especially if you need something as your primary sound system. The 4 stars I have given most certainly reflect the price I paid. At $40+, I would give it 2 or 3 stars.

I checked the box for "order both" which was one iH80B and one JBL On tour Portable, but got two iH80B speakers. My fault as I confirmed the order prior to submitting it, but not the confirmation which showed two iH80B speakers. Hassel to return, so I will find a way to use the double shippment and get by without the portable system. The price was the same for both products, so I did not spend any more money. Oh, the spreaker system works fine for my Nano iPod. Good sound and easy to use.
