We love this alarm clock and use it as a regular ipod radio in our bedroom as well. I was worried by some previous reviews that it would not be compatible with the new 30g ipods, but it works great! A couple features we love are the automatic recharging, growing alarm (because i hate being "scared" awake by loud buzzing), timer for music play and especially the fact that it will still sound an alarm if you forget to put the ipod on the docking station.

I got this today and every part of it is amazing.
Radio- The radio quality is better than very many radios.
Ipod Quality- Just as good as CD quality... If not better.
feautures- The backlight can replace your clock and the three different dims of the light are a nice touch. The buttons also glow for night use.
Overall- A solid speaker system. If you dont have ipod speakers... this is definetley the one to get!

I purchased this as an alarm clock that I can use my Ipod for my wakeup music. This clock does everything that any other advanced alarm clock will do, but much much more. I particularly enjoy the ability to set clock times with a knob that turns clockwise or counterclockwise, to be able to advance to the exact time needed, without having to press a button about 100 times. Great sound and snooze mode, and easy to use, and a definate must buy ipod fans.Customer Review: Great IPOD clock radio

This is the second IHome I purchased. The first one I got at Costco for my daughter and she loved it. The second I bought online becuase I couldn't find any retailers who carried black. I been using it for about 2 months now with no regerets. Its lets me fall asleep at a low volume and wakes me up at a loud volume that I preset. Best Item I got this Holiday season. I had debated for some time whether or not I wanted to purchase a clock radio for my Ipod. I am certainly glad I purchased the iH5. The sound is incredible for such a small piece of equipment, and I don't have to remember when was the last time I charged my iPod, the unit does it for me. I also like the feature that allows me to hook up my portable cd player to the iH5. You won't be disapointed with this item.
