This cute little clock would have gotten 5 stars from me if it weren't for the fact that I had to order a 1st Generation Nano insert from the iHome audio website so my 7 year old daughter could safely dock her iPod on it.
The clock comes with 4 inserts:
thin iPod with video
thick iPod with video
3rd generation Nano
iPod Touch
If you have any other type of iPod, be prepared to spend six bucks plus shipping for the insert.
The clock itself is perfect for a young girl. We love the pink! The sound certainly isn't stereo quality, but how could you expect that from a clock anyway?
There is NO radio (but for us that's OK since we rarely listen to anything but our iPods) and it does NOT come with a remote. The box clearly states the OPTIONAL remote is available for purchase online.
The pink side lights are WAY COOL in the dark. The snooze button serves as a dimmer with high/medium/low settings, or as an off switch if you don't want any lights at all.
I had a little trouble setting the time at first, but then I read the directions (who would have ever thought of that?) and found it was simple to set.
I recommend this clock for the youngest generation of iPod users. :)

I bought this for my 8year daughter and it works great. It has a loud sound for such a little device. I haven't figured out how to program it to play music instead of the buzzer. This is the first time using an ipod so I didn't want to spend a alot of money for a new clock/music device for my daughter. She loves having the remote control that did come with it. I lke that it charges as it is playing and has a dimmer for when she is listening to her ipod at night. I feel this a good product for its price and I would recommend it and buy one for son (black one) when he gets an ipod. It's nice a small which works great for a night stand and small desks.

I like this alarm clock for its color and space saving size. I had read other reviews on it saying you could not turn the glowing lights all the way off, but you can! I also read a review that said the ipod nano 3g does not work with it, but that is the ipod I have and it works great! The sound is great and I love waking up to my favorite songs on my ipod! The only down side for me was there was no remote with it and that you had to buy the remote separately. Although, I was able to use the remote that came with my under the counter ihome to change the volume and songs on the alarm clock. I think this a great product for the price!
