This product is value packed. The product fits extremely well under my cabinet. All of my iPods and shuffle fit nicely. The sound quality is excellent, the TV channels and weather channels are received well in any kind of weather. The battery power feature came in handy during power outages. This unit has good sound quality, especially for a kitchen. It mounts very nicely under the counter and has a very responsive remote. If you are looking for Bose sound quality, then this unit will not leave you satisfied. The radio picks up FM stations very clearly. My wife was against buying this but now plays it everyday. I really enjoy this kitchen stereo for my nano, the whole family enjoys this as well. My only complaint would be that our Directv high def receiver remote somehow turns it on at random and we haven't figured out why.?
Highly recommend this kitchen charger/stereo, it is also compatible with the shuffle which I was unaware of prior to purchase.

My wife & I both love to cook and we both love to listen to a variety of music. This product allows us to listen to our IPod while we are in the kitchen without having to use headphones. It sounds great and works with any IPod model. For the nano gen 2, you just have to get the right insert from iHome. We both love it and wouldn't give it up.Customer Review: Surprisingly good sound

I'm really happy with the sound this little box puts out! Clear sound with no distortion, at least not to my untrained ears. Installation was simple with easy-to-follow directions and template. An unexpected bonus - the clock display has become our kitchen nightlight. In short, I'm using and enjoying this iHome more than I expected.
